With the MagicMobile services announced just a few days ago, customers visiting Walt Disney World Resort now have an option in the MyDisneyExperience app to “Interact in Incredible Ways” to enhance their visit to the park with their mobile device via Bluetooth. .
Once inside a Disney World theme park, guests are greeted with a message “Enhance your visit to the park with messages and experiences powered by wireless technology from your phone” on My Disney Experience. Here, guests will see an option to enable Bluetooth on their mobile device if it is not already enabled.
Once Bluetooth is activated, guests should receive messages and be offered “unique experiences” related to the park they are in. No further details are given for this feature yet.
Oddly enough, we received this prompt on a non-Apple device, although Disney has said that MagicMobile will be rolled out to Apple users first. We suspect some services will be, but customers with any type of device will start to notice new features on board in the coming weeks.
