Disney Plus: every show or movie you can watch

During an epic three-hour presentation, Disney presented an extensive catalog of new and traditional shows that you'll be able to broadcast in November from the launch of the company's Netflix competitor, Disney Plus.

With the huge libraries of Disney – and, now, 21st Century Fox – movies and films as service candidates, what do we know that it will be included for streaming? It is the official Disney list of every show, movie and release date confirmed.

Disney has been discreet about specific exclusions of the service. If you do not see what you are looking for here, it does not necessarily mean that Disney Plus is excluded – it's just that we do not know it yet.

Plus, we know that Disney Plus will be an exclusive broadcast house for all Disney theatrical releases in 2019 and beyond, starting with Captain Marvel at launch and then with Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Skywalker Rise, Frozen 2, Dumbo, The Lion King, Toy Story 4 and so on.

After years spent streaming in the back seat to protect its blockbuster big budget and lucrative TV model, Disney has made streaming its top priority this year, restructuring even the company. And this underscores the efforts that Hollywood is ready to make to meet, finally, the growing threat from tech giants such as Netflix, Amazon and – soon – Apple.

The following titles are the titles that Disney has confirmed for Disney Plus (in the language of the company, not in CNET).

Live-action original shows:

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series – The 10-part scripted series, set in real life East High, where the original film was shot, follows a group of students preparing for the opening night of High School Musical's first production of their school. With meta-references and docu-style elements, it's a modern version of the "classic" from 15 years ago. This highly anticipated series features leading actors including Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. Located after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order, the series follows an isolated pistol in the far reaches of the galaxy, far from the authority of the New Republic. Journal of a woman president – From the story of her diary, this series follows a 12-year-old Cuban-American girl who navigates the highs and lows of college and her journey to become the future president of the United States. Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) and Emily Gipson (I Can and I Will) will be executive producers with Ilana Peña (ex-girlfriend). Calendar: first year

The hawk and the winter soldier – Anthony Mackie will return when Falcon and Sebastian Stan resume their role as soldiers in the new Marvel Studios series. Calendar: first year

Loki – Tom Hiddleston will resume his role as Loki in the new series of Marvel Studios. Calendar: second year

Untitled Cassian Andor Series – Diego Luna will resume his role as rebel spy, Cassian Andor, in this series that will take place during the formative years of the rebellion preceding the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This thrilling spy thriller will explore stories filled with spying and bold missions to restore hope to a galaxy struggling with a ruthless empire.
