A Disney World ticket buyer helped a Pennsylvania woman escape domestic violence, police say.

The Pennsylvania Northern York County Regional Police Department said the booker could hear the woman who called shouting, “Let go of me” and “get away from me,” reported WESH, an NBC Orlando affiliate.

The booker asked the woman if she was calling because she needed a trip, and she said no. When the booker asked the woman if she needed help, the woman said yes, according to WESH.

North York County Police, who could not be contacted immediately on Sunday, arrived at her home on January 9.

The woman told police she was arguing with her boyfriend, Wayne Shiflett, over her employment status.

WESH reports that the woman said Shiflett, 38, strangled her and feared for her life.

Records show that Shiflett, who has been charged with strangulation, terrorist threats with intent to terrorize another and simple assault, remained in York County Jail on Sunday. It was not immediately clear if he had any representation.

Law enforcement officials and experts have warned against any attempt to reach 911 through third-party or coded language like “pizza ordering,” saying some people could be misinterpreted. Some services now offer the option of texting “911” for those who find themselves in a situation where they are afraid to make a call.
