The updated policy now specifies that restaurant visitors must wear their face masks when “standing, waiting or seated”.
“Face cover for each guest aged 2 and over, which must be worn in all public areas and can only be removed while actively eating or drinking,” the policy reads on the Disney World website. . “Masks must be worn standing, waiting or sitting in restaurants.”
Previously, the face mask policy for restaurants was not so specific.

Last month, the face mask policy was updated to state that even visitors who received the COVID-19 vaccine would still be required to wear face masks.
