BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor many storm developments in the Atlantic on Friday.

The disturbance is located southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, in the Atlantic.

NHC predicts that the system will become a tropical depression by early Tuesday or early Wednesday morning, while it continues to move to the west.

The other disturbance (yellow x), located a few hundred kilometers northeast of the Leeward Islands, is associated with a low pressure trough.

A significant development of this system is not expected over the next few days, as it moves slowly from west to northwest to northwesterly.
