DMR, Diamatti and Mac-10 Warzone Nerf is online

The Warzone DMR and Diamatti Nerf are finally live, along with more balanced updates for other overpowered weapons.

Raven Software has revealed that the Warzone Balance Patch is finally available. This huge patch was previously announced but no deadline was given.

Gamers have been waiting on nerves for weeks as games are plagued by overkill guns.

Warzone Nerf Update

Modifications of the DMR-14 Nerf

The one everyone was waiting for. Raven announced that the DMR was nerfed in two different ways.

Headshot damage has been reduced, while recoil has been increased. Hopefully that means the gun can no longer shoot two players from ridiculous distances.

Nerve type 63 modifications

The Type 63 is the hipster cousin of the DMR. While less popular than the DMR, it can be even more deadly in the hands of a seasoned player.

This received the exact same nerf treatment as the DMR for Warzone. Type 63 headshot damage and increased recoil.

MAC-10 Nerf Modifications

The MAC-10 SMG was also nerfed, rather controversial. Many players think the weapon is just very powerful, rather than overpowered.

However, that’s not how Warzone developer Raven saw it. The MAC-10 may no longer be the king of the close-range after the nerf.

He has now reduced head damage. For an SMG this isn’t a big deal, but players may notice a slight difference.

Diamatti Nerf modifications

Another hugely controversial pistol, it appears the Dual Wield Diamattis were the second most popular Warzone nerf candidate, after the DMR.

It was way too powerful for a secondary weapon, so increasing hip fire spread and reducing damage range will change that. These changes also apply to all dual-use weapons in Warzone, but Diamattis were the real issue.
