Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias was arrested late Monday for suspicion of a local battery, a Los Angeles police spokesman told Fox News.
The 22-year-old Mexican player was arrested around 7:30 pm Monday night on a parking at the Beverly Center.
A witness told police that he saw Urias arguing with a woman and said that he would have thrown her to the ground.

Urias has been detained on suspicion of domestic violence. He issued a deposit of $ 20,000.
TMZ, who reported the arrest for the first time, said the woman there denied that the altercation became physical; However, witnesses told the entertainment information website that they were adamant and that they had seen Urias push women to the ground.
The incident came just hours after Urias launched three scoreless innings of relief for his second career stoppage. It was his second stop in two outings for the Dodgers.
