At least a dozen times in the past year, I could have sworn that Moviepass – the spectacular project of extinction of movie theaters – had finally gone bankrupt. Some movies were unavailable, prices were raised and funds were reduced, the unlimited scheme died and resumed, and whenever one of these disasters is made public, I have the certainty that Moviepass would not be anymore.
For consumers in any case, it was a good ploy as long as it lasted.
It is unlikely, however, that Business Insider reported just a few hours ago that four of the company's executives, including the executive vice-president "executing daily operations," are endangered or have recently separated from Moviepass . While there are still directors and vice-presidents leaving a company where fundamental economic data have never seemed logical, other less experienced staff members are probably also present – such as survivors from a liner ship disaster, when the intended destination was side of the iceberg "and that arrived at the top speed ahead of schedule.
Do you work at Moviepass? What is holding you back and how is it there? We wish you the best. Send us an email so that we know that everything is fine.
