Some members of the royal family recycle their clothes

It is not uncommon for the royal family to wear the same thing more than once.

The Queen's daughter, Princess Anne, has and so has Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle. And let's not forget that Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, is known for recycling many of her outfits.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been photographed more times than any other royal salvage outfit that she wore before. Whether it was a pair of pants or a blazer with an older outfit or the same dress that she wore before, Middleton had proven that she was certainly not above the reuse of the same thing on many occasions.

The Telegraph noted that meticulous measures are in place to ensure that Her Majesty does not repeat her outfits. Her dressing records each piece she wears and the day of the event to avoid repetition.

According to Brian Hoey's book Not in front of CorgisHis Majesty gives the coins to his dressers and they can decide if they want to wear them or sell them. If they choose the latter although there is a strict condition, they must follow before anything leaves their possession.

Hoey pointed out that we can not know that the clothes have already belonged to the Queen and that "all the labels found on the clothes are removed and anything that could possibly identify as coming from royalty is erased ยป
