The reality TV star and part-time resident of Colorado, Dog the Bounty Hunter, is being treated by a doctor, confirmed his publicist Monday, following a report that he had a heart attack.

Doug "Dog" Chapman was taken to his home hospital in Colorado this weekend due to chest pain, reported TMZ. He had a "cardiac emergency" that may require surgery, depending on the point of sale of entertainment.

The Chapman representative said on social media that Champan is being treated for his condition and is resting. "Thank you for all your wishes, keep going," the representative said.

A request for comment Monday afternoon was not immediately returned.

Champan's wife, Beth Chapman, died in June after being placed in a medically-induced coma while receiving treatment for lung cancer in Honolulu. The 51-year-old woman was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017 and was diagnosed with cancer before being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

"Dog" Chapman said he was trying to cope with a new normal situation after the death of his wife. In August, he stood in front of his wife's trade, Bird Bail Bonds at Edgewater, burglarized to talk about burglary as well as Beth Chapman, who also chased the fugitives during his broadcast for years. He offered a cash reward for information about a suspect.
