(Gray News) – Country music star Dolly Parton is known for being always dressed.

The singer did not hide her fixation with makeup, clothes, etc.

"I'm not a natural beauty," said the Grammy winner. "If I want to have a look at everything, I will have to create them."

In the end, the country star sleeps with her makeup.

It is considered a beauty no-no, but Parton has its reasons.

"I wash my face every morning," said the 73-year-old New York Times. "You never know if you're going to destroy the bus, you never know if you're going to be somewhere in a hotel and there's going to be a fire. So, I leave my makeup at night and clean my face in the morning.

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends that men and women wash their face once in the morning, once at night and after heavy sweating.

Parton says that she stole her style from the prostitute in the city where she grew up in eastern Tennessee.

"When I was little, I modeled my eyes on the trollop of the city," she told Jimmy Fallon in "The Tonight Show" in 2016.

"And I thought she was the most beautiful thing. She had all that makeup and that hair and all the tight clothes and everything I wanted. So that impressed me.

The experience of her childhood led her to remain obsessed with glamor and plastic surgery throughout her life, before raising two of her most famous quotes.

"It costs a lot of money to look so cheap!" And "If I see something saggin ', baggin' or draggin ', I went to take it smothered, hidden or sucked!"
