With training camp coming up in a few weeks, Miami made some changes to the Friday roster.

The Dolphins have announced that they have re-signed free agent wide receiver Isaiah Ford. Ford was a seventh-round pick for the Dolphins in 2017 and spent most of his first four seasons with the franchise, appearing in 19 games. While Miami traded Ford to New England in November, the Patriots gave him up in December. He returned to the Dolphins’ training squad soon after.

He did not appear in a game for New England.

In total, Ford played 35% of Miami’s offensive snaps last year. He has 51 career receptions for 520 yards.

The Dolphins have also given up on goalie Brian Cole and center Tyler Gauthier. Both players spent the 2020 season on the Miami training squad and signed forward contracts with the club at the end of the season.
