Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said Thursday that the team had "a starting team in the lead" for the offensive line of the opening game Sunday against the Ravens, but they did not not yet finished changing the composition of the group.
The linphins signed veteran offensive lineman J Marcus Webb. Webb visited the team earlier this week.
Linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel was placed on the injured reserve to open a seat.
Webb spent the summer with the Colts, but failed to pass to 53 players last weekend. He started for the Colts last season and made 65 starts in total while taking the time to tackle and keep with the Colts, Bears, Vikings, Raiders and Seahawks.
This type of experience is rare on the Dolphins line, which could help Webb make its way into future training in Miami.
