Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams had a productive 20-minute opener in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals, but he wasn’t there to build on that in the second half.

Williams caught four passes for 60 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown with just over 10 minutes left in the second quarter. It turned out to be his last game as he limped with a foot injury and returned to the locker room.

A sprained foot was diagnosed and head coach Brian Flores said on Monday that there was no schedule set for his return at this point.

“We are going to assess it day by day,” Flores said, via Barry Jackson of the Miami herald. “He’s a tough kid. We will try to fight and see how it goes.

A Cardinals defenseman grabbed Williams’ foot as he leapt into the end zone, but it was believed he was injured during the celebration when defensive tackle Christian Wilkins pounced on him. Flores said it looked like “what it was during the game” and the team will have to wait and see if Williams will be available either way.
