Comedian Don Rickles’ widow, Barbara, has died at age 84, almost four years after losing her husband.
Ms Rickles died after being hospitalized last week struggling with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other health issues, according to TMZ.
Barbara’s last day was Sunday, which would have been her and Don’s 56th birthday if the two were still alive.

The couple were married for 52 years until their death in April 2017.
Don and Barbara had a daughter, Mindy, and a son, screenwriter Larry Rickles, who tragically passed away in 2011.
The couple were together throughout their decades-long show business career, which was reportedly featured by their agent at the time.

Rickles – formerly Skylar – helped her husband professionally on an EP for a re-release of his comedy show Don Rickles Live in Concert and she was by his side on numerous documentaries and TV specials.
Although Rickles is known to be a master of insults, he has never had anything but complimentary things to say about his love, once telling Al Roker that she was his “ whole life. ”
“ She’s everything, ” he said on a 2016 Today, calling her “ someone who really cares about you, through good and bad. ”

Two years ago, Barbara took to Don Rickles’ official Twitter account to celebrate their relationship with a vintage photo of the couple.
‘The way we were!’ she wrote. “Today, March 14, would have been my Don and my 54th wedding anniversary.
“I am grateful that we were able to celebrate 52 wonderful and loving years together. Rest my pussy in peace.
