Donald Trump Jr. confirmed to Fox News on Friday evening that he had tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this week and that he is now in quarantine.
As cases continue to skyrocket in the country, the president’s son has joined the masses to contract the virus, although, according to the Trump Jr. spokesperson, he has been sympathetic and has followed quarantine guidelines since his birth. cabin in upstate New York.
“Don tested positive earlier this week and has been quarantined in his cabin since the result,” a spokesperson told Fox News on Friday. “He has been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all recommended medical guidelines for COVID-19.”

More than 11.8 million Americans have contracted the coronavirus since the pandemic attack earlier this year, leading to the deaths of nearly 254,000 people in the United States, according to data from John Hopkins University.
President Trump himself was admitted to Walter Reed Hospital in early October after he and the Frist Lady tested positive for the coronavirus.
Trump’s youngest son Baron Trump is also believed to have contracted the disease, which the president used as an example to explain why schools should reopen.
“He had it for such a short period of time. I don’t even think he knew he had it because they were young and their immune systems are strong and they are 99.9% fighting it. Trump said at a rally in Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 14.

Trump Jr.’s announcement came just hours after Senator Rick Scott, of R-Fla., Confirmed that he had also tested positive for the coronavirus, joining the growing list of conservative politicians contracting the virus.
Seven senators, including Scott, have so far tested positive for the coronavirus, all Republicans. The House also saw 28 members who tested positive, including 19 Republicans, as well as nine Democrats.
