  • A right-wing rally in support of the Capitol rioters on Saturday drew a meager crowd.
  • Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to poke fun at law enforcement officials whose disguises were apparently unconvincing.
  • The forces of order on the spot would be more numerous than the demonstrators.

Donald Trump Jr. retweeted an image of a group of men attending the rally, dressed in shorts and sunglasses, and suggested they were undercover federal agents.

The “Justice for J6” rally, organized in support of more than 600 people arrested in the context of the Capitol riot, was little attended but benefited from a significant media and police presence.

In a series of tweets, Donald Trump Jr. mocked what he claimed to be undercover law enforcement officers.

“Apparently they stopped teaching the craft and replaced it with CRT and White Rage Studies in Quantico,” Trump Jr. said of the men in one. Tweeter.

“They almost fooled the 2 non-Feds present,” he said in another Tweeter.

It is not known whether the men were law enforcement officers or not.

Trump Jr. also retweeted a series of images purporting to show a Capitol Hill police officer accidentally unmasking an undercover officer upon finding his badge.

“What an absolute joke. It’s a shame that the hard-working men and women in law enforcement, the real doorkeepers, are led by such clowns and forced into these bullshit situations to trap Americans.” , he wrote.

It is not known whether the man in question was a police officer and whether he attended the rally in a professional capacity.

Trump Jr. shared another tweet about the incident and wrote: “If only Biden spent as much time being tough on the Taliban as he did trying to set up and trap Americans using federal law enforcement. “

Although the rally is expected to draw large crowds, turnout has been low.

The Associated Press reported that law enforcement at the scene easily outnumbered the protesters.
