While Democrats in Washington warn of a "constitutional crisis", President Trump is in the state of Florida to torch his loyal supporters at his fourth campaign rally of the year.

Before the rally, the president visited Tyndall Air Force Base, struck by the storm, still in shock from the damage caused by Hurricane Michael. Additional federal relief funds intended for Panhandle and other disaster-affected communities across the country have been stuck in Congress in recent months as lawmakers failed to break a traffic jam on additional hurricane recovery funds for Puerto Rico.

A Democratic Senate aide told CBS News that the president and congressional Republicans "were blocking" disaster assistance to the same Florida communities that he had visited on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, the president said executive privilege on the entire report of the special advocate Robert Mueller and his underlying documents at the request of Attorney General William Barr. Echoing the comments of the Justice Department, the White House insisted that the House Judiciary Committee Chair, Jerry Nadler, a New York Democrat, "overstepped" his oversight authority.

Keeping his promise, Nadler and his Democrat-controlled committee voted for find Barr in contempt for failing to comply with the subpoenas of the group in the Mueller report. The New York Democrat told the press that the "walls" of the Justice Ministry and the White House had precipitated a "constitutional crisis".
