Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s name has been touted as a potential 2024 presidential candidate, but a certain person doesn’t seem too keen on the idea. “If I faced him I would beat him like I beat everyone,” former President Donald Trump said in an interview with Yahoo! Finance. “I don’t think I’m going to face him,” Trump added. “I think most people would give up, I think he would give up.” Trump’s backing helped propel DeSantis to victory in 2o18, but the growing popularity of the Florida pol has been reported to anger the ex-president. DeSantis, meanwhile, has said he has no immediate plans for the White House, and Trump has also not said he is running.
