Patricia Allen, 80, died on Saturday, and Allen performed in her memory on Sunday.
After Oishei Children’s Hospital tweeted Friday that donations had reached $ 483,000, Allen tweeted his thanks and his own donation.

Donations to the hospital are usually made in increments of $ 17, representing Allen’s jersey number. The total donation was around 24,000 on Friday evening.
