Donnie Wahlberg leaves $ 2,020 tip at Sandwich Restaurant – CBS Boston

SANDWICH (CBS) – New Kids On The Block singer and actor Donnie Wahlberg has already made headlines once this year for tipping an IHOP in January of $ 2,020.

Well, the Dorchester-raised star has done it again.

Marshland Restaurant and Bakery in Sandwich posted a receipt on its Facebook page last Saturday in which Wahlberg left a tip of $ 2,020 for a meal that costs just $ 35.27.

At the bottom of the receipt he wrote “# 2020TipChallenge”.

The Tip Challenge began in Alpena, Michigan, where waiter Danielle Franzoni also received a tip of $ 2,020 in the final days of 2019.

Marshland Restaurant and Bakery wrote on their Facebook page: “Special thanks to our friend @donniewahlberg! Asked about it, he replied: “who is next ?!”
