Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason has repeatedly asked Trump if he would concede the election to Joe bidenJoe BidenTrump says he will leave the White House if Biden is declared winner of Electoral College The Memo: Biden faces tough road to pledge to heal American nation records 2,300 COVID-19 deaths as pandemic escalates with vacation PLUS if the electoral college votes in favor of Biden, ultimately asking Trump to simply answer the question. Trump replied firmly, “Don’t talk to me that way.”

Trump interrupted him as the reporter tried to intervene and apologize, saying, “I am the President of the United States. Never talk to the president like that, ”before Trump said he would move on to someone else’s question.

Before speaking directly to Mason, Trump began to provide a lengthy answer to the question, in which he reiterated his allegations of electoral fraud and compared the election to an election in a third world country.

Trump has already engaged with Mason. In September, the two had an exchange in which the president asked Mason to remove his mask while asking a question, which the reporter refused to do.

The Thanksgiving Pool Spray, in which the White House invites reporters to observe and sometimes ask questions of the President, marked the first time Trump has answered questions from the press since Biden was announced president-elect earlier this this month.
