Doom Eternal is said to have generated over £ 323million ($ 450million) in the first nine months of its release.

Bethesda had previously trumpeted that the Doom Eternal launch was the show’s best in terms of opening week sales, but at the time, the publisher didn’t give exact numbers, simply confirming that the game had doubled revenue from Doom’s launch weekend. Restart 2016.

Now, however, a statement on the LinkedIn profile of a former developer of id Software revealed that those numbers translate to a turnover of $ 450million (thanks, ResetEra) – or £ 323million.

The LinkedIn profile is apparently no longer publicly available, but the former “monetization designer” and head of product management worked at id Software for three years before leaving the studio last year.
