Just days ago, Reggie Fils-Aimé shocked the video game community by announcing that he would leave his position as Nintendo of America's president after nearly 13 years spent in his family. Doug Bowser, who bears his name, replaces him. While the majority of projectors are still on the current president, Doug has already received additional attention since the news.
To show his appreciation, he took for Twitter to thank the fans for the "warm messages" and explained how Reggie had taught him so much in recent years at Nintendo and would use all this knowledge to fuel his own enthusiasm:
"Thank you all for your warm messages as I turn to this new adventure, I've learned so much from Reggie, and his love and passion for Nintendo, as well as yours, will never be far from my mind."
