The Dow Jones and other major stock indexes were about to end the week on a positive note, amid a new series of bullish results. Intel and Pfizer shares were the Dow Jones' biggest winners today. Intuit (INTU) made good progress in the Nasdaq 100, up 6% on strong earnings.

In the afternoon, the industrial Dow Jones, S & P 500 and Nasdaq indices posted gains ranging from 0.5% to 0.7%. Small caps also rose, with the Russell 2000 up 0.7%. The volume on the Nasdaq was higher than Thursday. NYSE's volume was slightly lower.

Movers in the Dow Jones today

Actions of Intel (INTC) rose nearly 3%, helped by Morgan Stanley's move to an overweight at equal weight. Pfizer (PFE) has recovered its 50-day moving average, increasing by just over 2%.

Coca Cola (KO) underperformed the Dow Jones, down 1%. After falling 8.6% last week on profits, stocks are up only 0.3% this week.

Earnings movements

Again, earnings gains were not difficult to find. Ranking stock Trade Office (TTD) out of consolidation, up 30%. Adjusted earnings of $ 1.09 per share far exceeded the consensus estimate and the company recorded a fourth consecutive quarter of sales growth of more than 50%.

Wayfair (W) also shows significant earnings gains. Profitability is still far off for the online furniture retailer, but sales growth has been impressive for several quarters.

Acacia (CFIA) came out of a consolidation, also on solid profits. Like many other fiber optic stocks, Acacia looks like a flipping story. After several consecutive quarters of declining profits and sales, last-quarter earnings jumped 52% over the previous year. Sales increased 24% to $ 107.1 million.

Kraft Heinz, Hit Stamps.com

On the decline, Kraft Heinz (KHC) plunged 27% on a flurry of negative stocks including low profits, a subpoena to the SEC and a reduced dividend.

Stamps.com (STMP), meanwhile, has created more than 50% craters after the company announced results and announced the end of its partnership with the US Post, its main customer
