The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down Tuesday morning, with Walt Disney and Chevron shares recording the largest drops in the index. Walt Disney DIS Shares,
and Chevron CVX,
contribute to the intraday decline of the blue chip gauge, such as the Dow DJIA,
recently traded 81 points, or 0.3%, lower. Walt Disney shares are down $ 2.77, or 1.5%, while Chevron’s are down $ 0.94, or 1.0%, combining for a drag of around 24 points on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA,
Dow Inc. DOW,
and American Express AXP,
A move of $ 1 in any of the 30 components of the Dow equals a swing of 6.58 points.
