The cast of "Downton Abbey" celebrated the premiere of his new film in the most surprising way ever: a sumptuous evening at the Plaza Hotel, worthy of the Crawley family.

A small orchestra played various tunes on Monday night's evening, including the show's classical music theme, as well as Adele's "Rolling in the Deep".

Well-heeled guests and cast members, including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and designer Julian Fellowes, had dinner on tea sandwiches and an oyster bar.

Christine Baranski, star of "The Good Fight", was seen on the second floor having a drink at the bar and watching people mingle with the balcony.

Allen Leech, Sophie McShera, Kevin Doyle, Penelope Wilton and "Downton" chef Lesley Nicol, who told Page Six that she was taking vegan cooking classes in Los Angeles, were all present.

Lady Maggie Smith, the only Earl of Grantham's dowager herself, was defaulted all night.
