Dr Disrespect revealed live that he knows the reason for his permanent ban from Twitch and is suing the platform because of it.
During a YouTube broadcast on August 23, Doc took an aside by comparing his current streaming platform to Twitch. After a while, the subject of his infamous and mysterious banishment forever from the purple-themed site was brought up, and the Two-Time shared new details about the infamous situation.
After calling the ban an “emotional roller coaster,” Doc revealed that he had known the reason for Twitch’s actions for months.
“There’s a reason I’m not talking about it, I can’t talk about that stuff,” Doc said, before having to mute teammate ZLaner. “A lot of people ask ‘do you know the reason?’ Yeah, I know why now. I’ve known that for months now.

Besides knowing why he was banned, he’s also apparently in the process of taking legal action against Twitch, but he didn’t go into specifics other than being “suing” them.
“There’s a reason, and I’ll just say it right now, champions – there’s a reason we’re suing them, okay?” ” he added. “I don’t know how to put it another way, the amount of damage, and you don’t… no.”
This is the first time we’ve heard of a lawsuit by either party over the ban, but if Doc knows the reason he was kicked from Twitch it could be huge news. .
Why is Doc suing Twitch?
The streamer didn’t say exactly why he was chasing Twitch during the stream. However, he spoke about the networking and marketing challenges he and his brand have faced since it all fell apart.
Finally, Dr Disrespect also noted that his previous contract with the “Purple Snake,” as he calls it Twitch, would have been in effect in September of this year. As this is the first time we’ve heard of Doc continuing his ban, we’ll be sure to bring you more details as they happen.
