Dr Dre’s daughter claims she is homeless

Dr Dre’s eldest daughter claims she is homeless and lives in a car. The hip-hop mogul, whose net worth was estimated at $ 800 million in 2019, reportedly cut her off last year.

LaTanya Young, 38, spoke to Daily mail on his financial situation.

“I worked in a warehouse and did Uber Eats and DoorDash,” revealed LaTanya, a single mother of four. “My kids stay with friends – they don’t live in the car, it’s just me.”

LaTanya recently moved from Nevada to California, where wages are higher.

“I do odd jobs just to be successful now – I get paid $ 15 an hour as a warehouse assembler,” she said.

LaTanya claims she hasn’t seen her famous dad for 18 years and doesn’t even have his phone number, communicating with him through his team. She fears losing the rental car she lives in because she cannot afford to pay.

“I am homeless and I asked my father for help,” she continued. “His lawyer said my dad didn’t want to help me because I talked about him in the press.”

A rep for the rapper did not respond to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for comment.

LaTanya admitted that Dr Dre, real name Andre Young, had helped her over the years by paying her rent and giving her an allowance, but that would have ended in January 2020.

“People call me a millionaire’s daughter for not understanding what I work for,” she added. “It makes me want to crawl under a rock … I’m on the street.”

LaTanya is Dr. Dre’s daughter with Lisa Johnson. They separated when she was 5 years old.

Although the former NWA rapper’s fortune took a hit in his acrimonious divorce from Nicole Young, entrepreneur Beats by Dre is still one of the wealthiest men in the business.
