Dr. Mario World for Mobile is based on the 1990 Dr. Mario Thinking Game and allows players to combine different color capsules with viruses and watch them disappear.

  • Match the capsules with the viruses and watch them disappear! Just match three objects of the same color vertically or horizontally to erase them.
  • Fortunately, Dr. Mario and his friends have virus-fighting skills and you can use the remaining half-capsules to strategically focus on particularly complex viruses.
  • Take your time, because each confusing virus configuration must be erased using a limited number of capsules. Stay calm to plan your approach, and get rid of Dr. Mario's world of viruses in no time!

Mario World also has a social component. You can send and receive hearts that give endurance, as well as face-to-face confrontations with other people and increase your rankings online through face-to-face wins.

You can sign up for Dr. Mario World on the App Store as of today. The game is free to download with optional in-app purchases. Nintendo notes that a permanent Internet access is required, which means you can not play Dr. Mario World offline. It is designed for iPhone and iPad.
