Draft MLB 2019: Yankees standings for the second day

[ad_1]

We have now completed two full days of the 2019 MLB project, and the most consistent choices of the project have been made. This does not mean that no one will be selected tomorrow, lap 11 turn 40, but it is likely that the best players that the Yankees will find in this project come from the first two sessions of the project.

The day began with a brief race against Jakes, while the Yankees selected Western Kentucky's Jake Sanford in third and East Carolina's Jake Agnos in fourth. In the fifth, they continued to roll with the left-handers of the college, bringing left-handed Ken Waldichuk out of St. Mary's.

The Yankees finally managed to convince the right-hander to join their right-handed Legion in the sixth round, sending Hayden Wesneski of Sam Houston State. Wesneski was selected by the Rays in the 33rd round in 2016 but chose to go to school. They dubbed with another college right-hander in the seventh round, Nick Paciorek out of North West. Paciorek is a converted pitcher, having already spent time as a receiver.

The eighth round saw another college right, New York having chosen Zach Greene of the University of Southern Alabama. In the ninth match, they returned to the infield to retrieve first baseman Spencer Henson of Oral Roberts University. Henson was a two-way player for a while, but he's focused on the success of the past two seasons.

Finally, the Yankees used their last pick of the day on Mitch Spence, a right-handed pitcher from the University of South Carolina, Aiken. For those who count at home, there are four right-handed pitchers that day, along with two left-handed batters, an outside player and an infielder. The Yankees were also particularly interested in college talent because they did not pass any selection to a high school player. In fact, the only choice they have used so far for a high school athlete is their first choice, which was used for the preparation of the shortstop Anthony Volpe.

Now that you have all this, tell us what you think! What are your impressions of the Yankees' choice of the second day? How would you rate the transport?
