Drake delays release of certified sixth album Lover Boy

In the first (minor) disappointment of the Biden era, Drake’s highly anticipated sixth studio album Boy in love certified has been delayed. The rapper from “Toosie Slide” announced the news this Wednesday, January 19, via his Instagram story. “I was planning on releasing my album this month, but between surgery and rehab my energy was put into healing,” Drake wrote. Those familiar with the whereabouts of @champagnepapi will know that Drake underwent knee surgery in October, which many believe was caused by an ACL tear. “I had the chance to get back on my feet, feel good and focus on the album, but club will not fall in January. Drake released a very athletic music video for the debut single from Boy in love certified, “Laugh Now Cry Later,” in August, but unfortunately the rest of the album will have to wait until a certain time in 2021. Come to think of it, maybe play one-on-one with Kevin Durant and be done the tackle by Marshawn Lynch had something to do with his knee? We may never know for sure, but we do know that copying Rihanna’s album rollout strategy won’t get her to answer you, Aubrey.
