Last October, Drake announced that his upcoming album Boy in love certified will arrive in January 2021. Now he has released an update stating that the album will not arrive this month.
Drake shared the news earlier tonight (January 20) in an Instagram story seen by Pitchfork. “I was planning on releasing my album this month, but between surgery and rehabilitation my energy has been devoted to recovery,” he wrote, referring to a knee injury that he suffered in the fall of 2020. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t drop in January. I look forward to sharing it with all of you in 2021. ”
