Dropbox has announced the launch of the Dropbox Spaces application revealed in June.
The idea behind Dropbox Spaces is to create a hub designed around a user's shared files.
In practice, this means that each space has a textual description and basic to-do lists to handle upcoming tasks. In addition, the application now allows file preview, image search and integration of paper documents.
In addition, Slack, Zoom and Trello can all be integrated into a Dropbox space, while cloud files such as Google Docs can also be imported.
Meanwhile, a new "For you" tab under Windows and Mac retrieves the calendar information and finds the relevant files. This section will also present a schedule of recent activity of the user's team.
A complete breakdown of the changes can be found here.
