The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday arrested Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and two others in connection with the seizure of banned drugs aboard a cruise ship off the coast of the Mumbai coast.

Aryan Khan would be produced here shortly before a Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court.

Lawyer Satish Maneshinde is said to represent Aryan Khan in court.

Aryan Khan has been convicted under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) for possession and consumption of prohibited substances.

He and seven others were arrested late Saturday night by BCN detectives after raiding the cruise ship en route from Mumbai to Goa.

The action came after NCB’s dramatic hit on Saturday night aboard the luxury vessel Cordelia Cruises as it prepared for a planned trip between Mumbai and Goa, blowing people away, especially in the entertainment industry.

It comes after the arrest of Khan and six other people identified as Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant.

An NCB official said various drugs such as MDMA, ecstasy, cocaine, MD (mephedrone) and charas were recovered during the raid on Saturday night.

Based on reports that a party was planned on the ship, an NCB team, led by its area manager Sameer Wankhede, raided the Cordelia cruise ship bound for Goa on Saturday evening and recovered drugs from it. some of the passengers, the official said. noted.

“During the operation, the suspects were searched and various drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, underwear and handbags (by women).”
