The royal family celebrates Easter, which also marks the 93rd birthday of the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II was all smiles during Easter Sunday service at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. She donned a pastel blue coat, a bright pink dress and a matching hat, a trend among the royals, while holding a vibrant floral bouquet.

Sunday is the first of two anniversaries of the Queen each year, a tradition that dates back to King George II for over 250 years. She marks her official birthday in June with the Trooping the Color show.

Prince William and Duchess Kate joined the matriarch. They accompanied the Queen in a light blue spring dress by Alexander McQueen and a gray fascinator.

The three children of the couple – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – did not attend. Maybe they were at home waiting for the Easter Bunny?

In a sweet moment captured before service, Kate makes an elegant bow as the queen (or birthday girl) arrives at the chapel.

Prince Harry was also present, without the Duchess Meghan, who expects the first child of the couple from one day to the next. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, however, sent a bow to the queen on Sunday on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday, Your Majesty, Ma'am, Granny," wrote the couple on their new Instagram page, which acquired 4.9 million followers in less than a month. "I wish you a wonderful day, Harry and Meghan."

Elizabeth is the longest reigning monarch in British history. She always keeps an active schedule, even if she does not travel as often as before.

Prince Philip, her 97-year-old husband, retired and did not attend the service.
