Jones, a 6-foot-2 guard, is ranked 4th and 29th overall in the ESPN NBA.
He was one of four five-star candidates of Duke's recruiting class in 2018, alongside Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. The other three are likely to become pro and enter the June NBA draft.
Jones averaged 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists this season. However, he struggled to make his shot, scoring only 26.2% of his 3-point attempts.
Jones, one of the best ball defenders in the country, also recorded 1.9 wins on average.
Duke was favorite 1 in the NCAA tournament but lost in the Elite Eight against Michigan State. Jones fought American Cassius Winston, finishing with just four points. He may have had his best game of the season against Virginia Tech at Sweet 16, finishing with 22 points, eight assists, zero turnaround and 5-in-7 behind the 3-point line.
Jones had hinted that he could be back on social media on Saturday night with a post on Instagram making him shrug and a caption that said, "Year 2?"
