Margaret Hunter, wife of US Representative Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., Will change her plea of not guilty in a federal case alleging that the couple had spent campaign funds for vacation and other personal expenses.
The San Diego Union-Tribune announced that Hunter, 44, had agreed to plead guilty and was scheduled to appear in federal court on Thursday.
The congressman told Fox News: "We'll see what she says tomorrow."

Duncan Hunter, a war veteran of Iraq and one of President Trump's early supporters, and his wife are accused of spending $ 250,000 on golf outings, travels in Italy and Hawaii, tuition fees, theater tickets and other expenses from 2009 to 2016.
Both were charged with 60 counts of misuse of campaign funds and attempted concealment of illegal expenses.
"We are aware that Ms. Hunter has scheduled a hearing to change her plea," Gregory Vega, a lawyer representing the congresswoman, told Fox News in an e-mail. "At the moment, that does not change Congressman Hunter. There are still important motions to plead, especially the speech or debate clause of the US Constitution. "
