Actor Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) has gained importance over the last ten years. Part of that came from his appearance in the Fast and furious franchise, which started with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. Today, Johnson pays tribute to the late Walker for his birthday.
Paul Walker was known for his "The Fast and the Furious" franchise
Walker started playing very young. However, it is not until the 90s that he has become a familiar face, appearing in films such as Pleasantville and Varsity Blues.
However, his breakthrough as a movie star came with The fast and the furious in 2001. Walker's career continued to grow from there, since he starred in action and theater films such as In the blue, Flags of Our Fathers, and Eight below.

Walker resumed his role as Brian O'Connor as it became a franchise, starring 2 fast 2 Furious 2003). He did not appear in the third movie The fast and the dangerous: drifting from Tokyo (2006), but returned for the fourth, Fast furious (2009).

Walker passed away in 2013
Filming for Furious 7 had begun when the tragedy struck. On November 30, 2019, an automotive enthusiast, Walker, was in the passenger seat, his financial advisor, Roger Rodas, driving a Porsche that they owned together. The car crashed, exploded and both were killed.
Death was judged an accident and sincere tributes began to pour in. Production on Furious 7 was interrupted for a while, then taken over by Walker's Cody and Caleb brothers, while the body doubled, while CGI helped recreate Walker's face as needed.

Although Walker is not as close to Johnson as their other co-star, Vin Diesel, the two have played in two, almost three films together, so they've probably become at least moderately friendly. On September 12, 2019, who is reported to have turned 46, Johnson posted a picture of the two together on Instagram.

However, there seems to be a controversy between the original series and the derived series. Allegedly, the release date of the next Fast & Furious 9 has been pushed back to 2020 because of Hobbs & Shaw. Johnson will not be in the ninth movie.
