Dwayne Johnson releases first trailer for NBC Sitcom Young Rock

On Saturday, Dwayne Johnson released the first trailer for Young Rock, NBC’s autobiographical sitcom based on childhood, adolescence and the entry into the world of wrestler-turned-actor enormous professionalism, all under the direction of his late father and fellow wrestler Rocky Johnson, starred in the series by Joseph Lee Anderson.

“Ladies and gentlemen, here is your first look at @nbcyoungrock,” Johnson wrote in the Instagram post. “I really wish my dad was there to see this one. Maaaaan, he would have been proud. Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, and Uli Latukefu play a 10-year-old Dwayne Johnson, 15-year-old Dwayne Johnson, and 20-year-old Dwayne Johnson respectively, while the real-life Dwayne Johnson plays himself as a narrator in the series.

“I can’t wait to make you and your families laugh a little and share some life lessons I learned along the way”, Jumanji: the next level wrote the actor. First lesson, apparently? Be adorable at any age. Young Rock premieres on NBC on Sunday, February 16.
