Dwyane Wade on the neglected aspect of James Harden’s trade

The public consensus was that the Brooklyn Nets will struggle with three ball-dominant superstars after acquiring James Harden to join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Retired NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, however, recently gave a convincing explanation as to why Harden’s successful trade might in fact be successful for Brooklyn.

After Harden’s magnificent Nets debut against Orlando Magic on Saturday, The Flash noted that The Beard looks happy for the first time this season and may in fact be able to focus on top-level basketball again.

The so-called James Harden saga with the Houston Rockets was one of the most grueling stories at the start of the 2020-21 season. The sole MVP publicly requested a trade and seemed like he had just gone through the moves during his final days in Houston.

The Nets, meanwhile, were already in turmoil with the unexplained leave of absence of their other superstar Kyrie Irving. Most experts have claimed that adding Harden to the mix only made things worse in Brooklyn. But as Dwyane Wade pointed out, athletes perform best when they are actually placed in a healthy environment.

The beard looked revitalized in his new situation on Saturday, as he arguably played his best game of the season so far. Harden became the first player to record a 30-point triple-double on a new team’s debut. He also recorded the franchise’s 14 best dimes, along with 12 rebounds, four steals and a block in the Nets’ 122-115 win.

As far as Dwyane Wade is concerned, the Nets will do very well this season now that James Harden is where he wants to be.
