DX in the HOF, Callups, Random Thoughts –

DX IN THE HOF …

To summarize: The show started with Triple-H on the ring, completely in his babyface character. He reviewed the events of last night, adding that even though, in his corporate role, he was to condemn Becky Lynch's actions, he personally thought it was "cool."

He then announced that D-Generation X would be in the WWE Hall of Fame class this year. He specifically mentioned Chyna as included.

Evaluation: It was very surprising to see DX enter the HOF this year, knowing that the HOF ceremony will be held in front of the New Japan show at MSG. I would have predicted that Triple-H would have wanted DX to be inducted into a year with more eyeballs.

It was good to see WWE do not be afraid of Chyna. Although the circumstances of the latter part of her life were tragic, she was an important part of WWE in the 1990s.

Provide: I would expect DX to dominate what will be a less supervised ceremony, even by the standards of the WWE HOF.

CALLUPS …

After the announcement of DX's entry into the Hall of Fame, Triple-H then announced that Ricochet, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and Alleister Black would make their Raw debut.

When Bobby Lashley struck Finn Balor, Ricochet came out for the save. As a result, Lio Rush and Lashley faced Ricochet and Finn in a first leg. Ricochet scored the pin with a 630 at Lio Rush.

Behind the scenes, Ciampa and Gargano were approached by Chad Gable and Bobby Roode. Gable and Roode were incredulous to learn that newcomers were trying to make their way to the champion in relation to them. The rebirth then appeared, but Ciampa interrupted them, claiming that they were not there to show respect to anyone, but rather to make an impact at their expense.

Ciampa and Gargano defeated the Revival in an untitled match, using their old do-it-yourself combination.

Charly Caruso then interviewed Finn and Ricochet behind the scenes. Finn said it was Ricochet's night. Ricochet made a lower than average promo to realize his dreams.

Black later interrupted a concert of Elias and defeated Elias during a short game.

Evaluation: Most of the biggest stars of NXT were present tonight. I interpreted this as a mere appearance for them rather than a call, especially since two of them still hold titles in NXT.

Minor league baseball teams often rely on men's appearances from majors during re-education appearances to reinforce their attendance. Years ago, I had already seen Roger Clemens play with Double-A Trenton to prepare for one of his mid-season returns. The place was jam-packed.

In the WWE, we are in the opposite situation. NXT elicits such emotion and enthusiasm that Raw seems to hope that an appearance of the minor leaguers will hold the audience for three hours.

Provide: I'm waiting for all these guys to be back in NXT for a while. But one night, the appeal of NXT's exciting stars could become a trend.

Gargano and Ciampa will probably continue to flirt with the DIY reform. In the end, I think it will be a deception leading to another match between the two.

RANDOM THOUGHTS …

The promo of Sasha and Bayley was very uncomfortable tonight as she was delivered to a dead silence. WWE must now know that the whole pioneering / empowering gadget is not finished ….

I pray that this quarrel Baron Corbin-Braun Strowman is finally over .. ,,

Dean Ambrose was once again a crazy face tonight. Maybe the idea is to calm him before his release by confusing the fans?
