Philipps busy talk show Busy tonight was canceled by E! and will air its last episode on the cable network on May 16th.

Philipps revealed the news in a late-night Instagram video. She said that she was very proud of the series and that she was in talks with other potential focus groups for the series, which runs four nights a week.

The series, produced by the Little Stranger banner of Tina Fey and Wilshire Studios, went from her original home at 10 pm to 11 pm, when she returned Jan. 7, a decision Philipps had previously called of "vote of confidence".

The actress added that it was "lame" that there would be "only one woman late at night at a time". The series will air four episodes this week and four next week.

"Here's the thing, guys. My show, Busy tonight will not continue on E! after May 16th. They decided not to take it. Look, we meet people to see if there is another place where it makes sense to leave. Because I would like to continue doing it. We would all like to find a way to continue to succeed. It's crazy because we have only been performing for a short time. At that time, I feel that we have been able to accomplish many things creatively and culturally and culturally and I think we have had a real perspective. I'm so proud of everything we've done and I think the show is really successful, but I do not know what to say, "she said.

"We have talked to some people and are trying to determine if there is a suitable place on our show, and we hope to do it. I think we will do it. I have faith in myself. I hope you know we can continue to do the show elsewhere. I hope we will understand this because it seems lame to think that there would be only one woman late at night at a time. But I do not know. It's crazy. I really have the most amazing people working with me, our staff is made up of nine people [staff]it's an office filled with drugged women who do it. But you know, obvs, I'll let you know what's going on. Good night to you, I love you, "she added.
