E3 2019: Microsoft promises "something new" for Xbox press conference

Conditions are ripe for Microsoft to have a great performance at E3 2019. The press conference on Xbox will take place this weekend, and the company has already promised to "take the plunge" at the show, who will see Sony meet this year. Microsoft has now clarified its plans for the briefing, which will last less than two hours. In one tweet On the official Xbox account, the company said: "We have invited something new on # XboxE3 this year."

Of course, the E3 presentations are often full of new announcements, but this one was remarkable. This seems more important than most of the surprises of the E3, and the mention of an invitation could imply that it brings something out to his own business.

So what could all this mean? The curious wording might hint at something big – in this case, it might be teasing the revelation of its next generation Xbox, Scarlett. Although this should not be launched until next year at the earliest, Sony is already talking a lot about the PS5, which has still not been named. Microsoft may want to do the same and expose its vision of next-generation hardware.

Beyond that, we know that Microsoft will talk about its xCloud streaming service, scheduled for later this year. He also alluded to the extension of Xbox services to other platforms, including the recent announcement of the Xbox Game Pass on PC. He also plans to present 14 Xbox Studios games, some of which stem from his wave of new acquisitions.

Overall, it can range from a surprising partnership to new materials or services. We will have to watch the Xbox E3 press conference to be sure. This will begin June 9 at 1:00 pm, the day before / 4:00 pm, Eastern Time / 9:00 pm, Eastern Time (6:00 am, June 10th). Be sure to check out our full press conference schedule for dates and times.
