E3 2019: Nintendo threatens lawsuits against Leaker

[ad_1]

It would not really be E3 if a number of surprises were not going away in advance, but despite that, this year has been particularly elusive. Almost all the most important announcements this weekend have been canceled early, from the new Ninja Theory game, Bleeding Edge, to Elden Ring, the alleged collaboration of From Software with Game of Thrones author, George RR Martin. The Nintendo press conference on E3 remains to come, and it seems that the company is taking steps to ensure that none of its secrets are unveiled in advance because she reportedly threatened to take legal action against a leak manager.

The Twitter user, Sabi, who accurately disclosed the details of the Microsoft and Bethesda press conferences prior to their broadcast (including the appearance of Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077 and Xbox Scarlett's technical specifications), has revealed that they had received a letter of termination and discontinuance from a lawyer representing Nintendo (via Eurogamer). Since then, Sabi said they would not disclose anything from Nintendo Direct, although they continue to disclose non-Nintendo secrets.

The release of E3 Direct from Nintendo is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at 9:00 am, Pacific Time / 12:00 pm (ET) and 5:00 pm (Paris time). The company recently confirmed the broadcast of the show – about 40 minutes. We also know that Nintendo will unveil the next character of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC at the Direct; Game director Masahiro Sakurai confirmed it in a video message after Nintendo's Smash Ultimate World Championship on June 8.

Beyond that, however, Nintendo has not talked much about Direct this year. The company announced that the show would focus mainly on Nintendo Switch games from 2019 and it confirmed that Luigi's Mansion 3, the ultimate Marvel Alliance 3: the Black Order and the Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening would all be readable on the E3 show. they will probably all be under the spotlight during the Direct.

If you want to connect, you can know when and how to watch E3 Direct from Nintendo here. This is not the only Nintendo news coming out of this year's E3, though. The company also aired a Pokemon-focused live show on June 5, which revealed a ton of new details about Pokemon Sword and Shield.
