PHILADELPHIA (CBS / AP) – Eagles coach Doug Pederson is expecting injured runners Fletcher Cox, Brandon Brooks, Nigel Bradham, Derek Barnett and Ronald Darby to be ready for the event. opening of the season after missing the pre-season.
Cox, four 2018 Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections, and Bradham, the team's most reliable linebacker, are recovering from foot injuries suffered in a playoff loss to New Orleans. Quarterback Carson Wentz did not take a picture in pre-season and most starters only played in two sets.
The Eagles also announced Monday that they have hired cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc for a one-year contract extension, which will keep the 25-year-old midnight away for the entire 2020 season.

Just after signing the overtime, the team tweeted that LeBlanc had been placed in the injured reserve with a foot injury sustained at training camp.
