Eagles Injury Report: Good News On Darius Slay And Others

[ad_1]

The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report Thursday ahead of their Week 15 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Two players DON’T PRACTICE: Jack Driscoll and Avonte Maddox.

Driscoll is expected to be placed on the injured reserve soon as he is out for the season. Matt Pryor should start on the right tackle in his absence.

Maddox could also be an IR candidate. At the very least, he’s not playing this weekend.

Six players were limited: Darius Slay, Malik Jackson, TJ Edwards, Shaun Bradley, Michael Jacquet and Grayland Arnold.

Good sign to see Slay improved to the limited level after missing practice on Wednesday. Looks like he might be able to clear the concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s game. The Eagles certainly need him to play given all of their secondary injuries.

Jackson was limited for the second day in a row. He might be further along than Slay in the concussion protocol. It looks like he should be ready for Sunday if things continue to progress well.

Edwards was limited for the second day in a row. Maybe he could come back after missing week 14.

Bradley is a new addition to the injury report. He got caught on Sunday but was not listed on Wednesday.

Backgammon was limited for the second day in a row. Maybe he could come back and give the Eagles a little more depth at the cornerback.

Arnold was upgraded to the limited level after sitting down on Wednesday. He’s headed in the right direction and maybe he could play.

Three players have been listed as FULL: Fletcher Cox, Josh Sweat and Rudy Ford.

Cox was just resting on Wednesday so he’ll be good to go.

Sweat should be fine for this week. Being upgraded from limited to full confirms this expectation.

Ford is set to play in his first game since Week 10. His potential return helps the Eagles’ safety depth and special teams unit. Back for a #RevengeGame against its old maps!
