The Philadelphia Eagles have officially announced the inactive roster for their 2021 NFL Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The following five Eagles players were declared OFF: Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Gardner Minshew, Mac McCain and Marlon Tuipulotu.
Johnson’s exit is a shock. He was not listed with a playing status on the final injury report. The Eagles say Johnson is out because of a “personal matter”.
Mailata was excluded from the final injury report. The Eagles will start Andre Dillard on the left tackle. With Frank Clark out, Dillard took a break for the second week in a row.
With the Eagles’ two starting tackles out, the offensive line might look like this:
Left tackle – André Dillard
Left Guard – Landon Dickerson
Center – Jason Kelce
Right Guard – Nate Herbig
Right tackle – Jack Driscoll
Ouch. Not ideal!
Alternatively, the Eagles could have Driscoll on the right guard (he should have started there, according to Derrick Gunn) and Brett Toth on the right tackle.
Either way, not great.
Rodney McLeod is active for his first game since tearing his ACL in December of last year. He’s thinking of starting next to Anthony Harris. It is not known if McLeod will be able to play 100% defensive snaps or if he will be facilitated.
Josiah Scott is active for his first game with the Eagles after being activated from the IR.
Jack Anderson is active for his first game with the Eagles, with Philly needing some extra depth of the offensive line.

QB Gardner Minshew – Third string quarterback.
DT Marlon Tuipulotu – Defensive tackle in depth.
CB Mac McCain – Depth cornerback.
Kansas City Inactive Chiefs List
No surprises for the chefs. KC is missing the aforementioned Clark, his forward and starting cornerback Charvarius Ward. A guy named “Dicaprio Bootle” might see CB playing time for the Chiefs.
