Small lake, California. (KTNV) – A 5.0 earthquake occurring in Little Lake, California, at the China Lake Naval Weapons Base just before 1:50 pm, according to the US Geological Survey.
The epicenter was reportedly located about 50 km north of Ridgecrest, where a magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck in July.

Both events caused a shockwave in the Las Vegas Valley – including social media reports on Thursday afternoon, showing residents feeling a rolling sensation near downtown.
Since then, a number of earthquakes have been reported in the Little Lake area, according to estimates.
