Let's say you forgot to take something for your Easter dinner. Do not worry, many places are open today if you need a quick shop.
Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and many other places are open today. There are some exceptions, including Target, Publix and Aldi, which are closed on April 21st.

Here is an overview of the openings and closures of Easter 2019. Always check with your favorite place to confirm their hours:
Aldi – Closed
Costco – Closed
CVS – Normal Hours of Operation
Home Depot – Open
Kroger – Open
Lowe's – Open
Shopping Centers – Most shopping centers will be open, but some will have vacation hours. Check with your favorite mall to confirm the hours.
Publix – Closed
Restaurants – Most restaurants are open, many with special Easter menus. Cracker Barrel, Olive Garden, Red Lobster and Outback Steak House will all be open. Chick-fil-A, which is closed every Sunday, will not be open at Easter. Chipotle is also closed.
Rite Aid – Opening Hours Sam's Club – Closed
Starbucks – Open
Target – Closed
Trader Joe's – Closing at 5pm
Walgreens – Opening of regular hours
Walmart – open regular hours
Whole Foods – Normal Hours of Operation
Easter next year
Easter 2020 will be earlier, Sunday, April 12. The following year, it is even earlier, Easter being April 4th.
